INTRODUCTION

The Chlorine Specialties Emergency Repair Kit "A" is manufactured for use with the standard US DOT #3A480 Cylinder of 100 or 150 pound capacity. These cylinders have outside diameters between 8 and 10 inches and overall height from 39 to 59 inches. All kits are manufactured by Chlorine Specialties in accordance with their standards of high quality products and are kept in stock all year round.

INTRODUCTION

The Chlorine Specialties Emergency Repair Kit "A" is manufactured for use with the standard US DOT #3A480 Cylinder of 100 or 150 pound capacity. All kits are manufactured by Chlorine Specialties in accordance with their standards of high quality products and are kept in stock all year round.

KIT CONTENTS

The Chlorine Specialties Emergency Kit "A" has devices to stop leaks at valves and fusible plugs, and on the sides of cylinders. All parts are cadmium plated for corrosion protection. GAS MASKS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE KIT, but they MUST always be worn when investigating and correcting chlorine or Sulphur Dioxide leaks. The kit, packed in a steel box, weighs approximately 100 pounds.

All gaskets used in Kit "A" for chlorine cylinders are made of Viton® fluoroelastomers*

ADDITIONAL APPLICATIONS

We also have Emergency Repair Kit "A" for Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Anhydrous Ammonia (C-376AM) Cylinders. Please note they are NOT to be used interchangeably between different gases. All gaskets used in Kit "A" for Sulfur Dioxide Cylinders are made of EPDM (Ethylene Propylenediene).
