FOR ONE TON CYLINDERS OF CHLORINE OR SULFUR DIOXIDEINTRODUCTIONThe Chlorine Specialties Emergency Repair Kit "B" is manufactured for use with the standard US DOT #106A500X Chlorine Ton Cylinder. These cylinders have outside diameters of approximately 30 inches and overall length from 80 to 82 inches. All kits are manufactured by Chlorine Specialties in accordance with their standards of high quality products and are kept in stock all year round.

KIT CONTENTS

The Chlorine Specialties Emergency Kit "B" contains devices to stop leaks at valves and fusible plugs, and on the sides of ton cylinders. All parts are cadmium plated for corrosion protection. GAS MASKS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE KITS, but they MUST always be worn when investigating and correcting chlorine or Sulfur Dioxide leaks. The kit, packed in a steel box, weighs approximately 115 pounds.

DESIGN FEATURES

All gaskets used in Kit "C" for Chlorine Tank Cars are made of Viton® fluoroelastomers*. This kit can be operated by one person.

ADDITIONAL APPLICATIONS

We also have Emergency Repair Kit "B" for Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) Ton Cylinders. Please note they are NOT to be used interchangeably between different gases. All gaskets used in Kit "B" for Sulfur Dioxide Cylinders are made of EPDM (Ethylene Propylenediene).
